Blue Dragon Alaska Kennels is in need of a team of experienced people to build an addition to a dog kennel building in Wasilla, Alaska.

In exchange for your labor and/or materials we will barter with our pups or with advertising on our website and direct to our customers. Our website receives 7 to 10 thousand hits a month at this time, a third of those are local Alaskans. 2010 Advertising is going to include our current Dog Fancy Magazine and online ads in addition to our new Non-Profit Educational Arms to Blue Dragon Alaska and a TV show that we are pitching to Animal Planet and the Discovery Channels.

This addition has two sections. A 42 foot long by 12 foot wide single level structure that is just one long hallway down the middle using both sides of the hallway as individually divided indoor housing/outdoor dog runs. The second section is a 13x12 room with two dividers with three doors for those sectionals and a hall.  

In addition BDAK has incorporated a prefab kit design of 12x12 indoor/outdoor dog housing into this construction to demonstrate and sell to the multitude of individuals that ask for directions on this subject every year. If you are a laborer that wants to be hired to build them or a supplier of materials that will offer your products for the kits we will promote you to build them locally and in the lower 48 as part of this exchange. (The exchange of your labor and materials to build and complete this project in exchange for advertising you and your services or products)

Laborers are welcome to stay and sleep, shower and use the kitchen at the kennel while working on their phase.

Additional structures framed, erected, enclosed with insulation, paper and sound bored inside and out. With exterior finishing of roof and siding.  

Three stages-

A-frame and enclose crawlspace with insulation and floors.

B-frame walls, enclose with insulation, indoor sound board and ceiling

C-frame roof (s), enclose with insulation, paper, outside sound board

D-final roofing materials completion and siding for the new and original structure

Phase three-

Inside dog box design framed/enclosed with pocket indoor and outdoor designs along with top box doors pulleys and hinges. And inside whelping room dividers put in with doors and floor lips for puppy walls.

Wood, hardware including pulleys and hinges, wire sectionals for tops of boxes.

Phase four- Tile

Inside dog boxes (all inside box walls), whelping sectional flooring and partial walls lined with tile and clear coat pored. Hallway floors and wall footer lined with linoleum or tile. (Possible prefab plastic grids for hallway and bottom of boxes)

Tile, clear coat decapore and linoleum and all applications needed for these materials.

Phase five-

Electrical, pluming and waste lines are needed. Existing structure has forced air heating and we would like expand the ducts into the flooring of the two additions. These would best be applied at certain intervals of this construction.

Electrical and Pluming, Heating experts. Would like to put Pecks for pluming. (The existing heating system is over adequate for the current structure.)

Materials or Services from Suppliers-

Wire, lighting and fan fixtures, plug ins’ and switches. Pecks, two utility sinks and two indoor and two outdoor water pickets. Duct expansion arms and multiple floor grates.

We need a full video - security - viewing system that can be monitored and multiple cams added to the internet for online viewing from our website and to provide live web programs.

We are Blue Dragon Alaska Kennels (www.BlueDragonAlaska.com) we have been breeding for 6 years and we have dogs in almost every state and overseas. We have a large following globally and here locally. This is a project we must complete and we have a lot to offer workers, services and store fronts.

Blue Dragon Alaska Kennels is reformatting its website in order to benefit you and other sponsors or advertisers in order to get this project done and to get it done at end of 2009’s construction season. BDAK has 7 to 10 thousand individual visitors every month and at about a third of that is out of the Alaska market place at this time.

What we have designed for our indoor/outdoor runs are prefab 12x12 units that will house 6 runs for each unit (the 40 foot structure has three units lined out consecutively). BDAK gets a never ending number of inquiries on how to conduct a dog kennel or a small to growing breeding environment. We would like to show our 12x12 units that can be expanded by adding another 12x12 unit and offer your services and/or your obvious abilities to construct, enhance, insulate, tile, roof anything that the multitude of pit bull lovers may need. We are asking for your time and labor in exchange for advertising you and your business for two years on our website and by mouth (2010/2011). We are respected by our clients and spoken well of locally and around the United States.

Please contact us to sign up for one of these phases as quickly as possible to not waste any warmer days. A sponsor list for materials will be contacted as we receive names to construct in order to seal the deal and in order to confirm quantities, quality and name brands when ever applicable by you the person working on getting the job completed. We have our dimensions and approximated material list, but it would be wise to have you the laborer review and confirm before we get a material sponsor.

Puppy trades are also an alternative if desired.
