Blue Dragon Kennels was started with our “Brad Pitt” of Pit Bulls, Blue “Dragon”.
Blue Dragon is co-owned by Alaska’s Pit Bull specialist Tim Lamb. Tim’s first dog and Pit Bull “Bullet”, a loyal friend and companion was such a big part of Tim’s life that he had a tattoo of his dog placed on his arm.
Since “Bullet” 30 years of Pit Bulls and Pit Bull breeding have come and gone in his life and “Dragon” has proven to be a “Bullet” caliber friend and companion and the reason for starting an official UKC breeding kennel.
Tim has the touch, he can read a pit from the first few days of birth. Tim can size up a pup and see what the adult features will be of that animal physically and mentally. He has proven that he is the Pit Bull “Whisper” (a TV show on cable) and can advise on Pit Bulls, pick out the perfect pit for an individual person and read a troublesome adult to find its’ soft spot and get a positive response.
Blue Dragon Kennels in Alaska is compiled of a handful of males and a handful of females all hand picked by Tim to deliver desired traits. The animals selected for our kennel carry genetics of excellent demeanor, dimensions and color. Some of our dogs are just pretty to look at with love and kisses for its owner. Some of our dogs have the skills to see a threat and will not only be obedient to you and your family and especially your children, but they will protect your home and possessions such as your vehicle or recreational vehicle.
Pit Bulls are one of the most loving and obedient breads on this earth and because of that they are a trainable animal which the owner has the control of. The behavior of each individual animal depends on the decisions and commitment of the owner. Just like people, Pit Bulls are genetically predisposed to carrying individually bread traits. Some pits will carry the desire and physical agility to protect and others will just want to be by your side and submit to the threat of confrontation. Tim has picked Pit Bulls of both mindsets and again every pup will be different, if you desire his help he can help you differentiate with in a litter to help you pick the best one for you.
Tim and Adrienne owners of Blue Dragon Kennels of Alaska want the best for our offspring and if you take one of ours into your home we would hope that you would stay apart of our family and send us photo’s and updates of your new member (which we would also post on our website to share with visitors). We do understand that what you do with your animal is your decision, but we are here if you need advise or opinions on handling any challenges or unknowns about your dog or interactions of your dogs.
